Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic Payment Policy (Updated January 1, 2018)
Payment Options
The veterinarians and staff members of Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic understand you want what is in the best interest of your pet. Sometimes the costs associated with these decisions can be difficult to understand. That is why we work to provide you with several options that will benefit your pet, allow for optimum quality of life, and enable you to feel comfortable with your choice.
To give you a better sense of the costs involved in treating your pet’s medical condition, your veterinarian can develop a health care plan upon request. This plan includes an approximate range of charges that may be incurred for services and procedures recommended for your pet.
While our hospital does not offer in-house payment plans, we do accept the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- Personal Checks from Established Clients – If checks are returned to BSVC for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF), the client will incur a charge of $25 to their account. Payment with cash or credit card is required to settle the account. If you have an outstanding bill, we cannot provide additional services until the past-due balance is paid in full.
- Debit Cards
- All Major Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card
We also offer CareCredit, a convenient financing plan that allows qualified applicants to divide payments over 6 months with 0% interest. Visit CareCredit.com for details on this no interest payment plan option and to apply for a CareCredit account.
All payments must be rendered at time of services rendered.
Pet Insurance
While we still require you to pay your medical bill directly to Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic, we are happy to help with any of the necessary paperwork that will streamline the reimbursement process from your insurance provider.
